One story, at a time.

Kobe Bryant’s career started in 1990 when he became the first freshman ever to start for Lower Merion High School basketball varsity team. Powerhouses such as Duke University, and North Carolina were all lined up to sign the phenom, but Kobe had bigger dreams which were to skip college and declare for the NBA draft. On January 26th 2020, Kobe Bryant was announced deceased alongside his 13 year old daughter Gianna after a tragic helicopter incident that shocked the world.

In 1996, Kobe Bryant got drafted by the Charlotte Hornets with the 13th pick, which broke Andrew Bynum’s world record and became the youngest player to play in an NBA game.

Fast forward three years from his rookie year, Kobe teams up with the most dominant player to ever play Shaquille O’neal. The pair goes on to win three championships in three consecutive years.
Like all humans, Kobe Bryant had a downfall moment in his life. In July of 2003, a civil suit was filed against Bryant for allegedly sexually assaulting a 19 year old hotel employee. The case was later dropped when the victim refused to testify in court.

After his return, on January 22, 2006, Bryant scored 81 points in an astonishing performance against the Toronto Raptors. His performance placed him behind the great Wilt Chamberlain for the second most scored points in an NBA game. He was finally awarded The Most Valuable player award in his 12th season while averaging 27 points and 5 assists per game.

After a legendary 20 years of professional basketball, Kobe Bryant said goodbye to the game in 2016. He scored an incredible 61 points in his final game against the Utah Jazz.
